Black Malleable Iron Hex Bushings

The BMP3412 is a 1-1/4" x 1" Black Malleable Iron Bushing with one 1" female-threaded connection and one 1-1/4" male-threaded connection. This allows the user to, effectively, change the end size of a piece of 1" black iron piping so it fits in a 1-1/4" black iron fitting. This is extremely useful when modifying or updating a gas or oil line. Installation of this bushing fitting is simple, as it does not require any welding or soldering. An inexpensive thread sealant is necessary for a watertight seal. Black iron is resistant to rust and corrosion, so it is most often found in gas and oil systems.
