Black Iron Couplings

The BSCO12 fitting is a 1/2" Black Malleable Iron Coupling with two 1/2" female-threaded connections. This fitting is designed to simply let the user extend a pipe or connect (couple) two pipelines together. This fitting is ideal for extending a pipe to reach another section of the system. Installation of this black iron coupling is simple, as it does not require any welding or soldering. An inexpensive thread sealant will be required for a watertight seal. Black iron is resistant to pressure, heat, and corrosion, so it is most often found in gas and oil systems.
