Eaton Model 72 simplex strainers have been the industry standard simplex basket strainer for more than 75 years. Eaton simplex basket strainers are engineered to be applied in industrial and commercial applications. Simplex strainers protect pumps, meters, control valves, steam traps, regulators, and other processing equipment that are downstream with a perforated or wire mesh screen that removes unwanted solids from liquid, gas, or steam lines. This 3" Eaton Model 72 simplex strainer is made of cast iron and has threaded connections. This simpex strainer is cleaned manually by shutting down the line and removing the strainer and cleaning any debris from the strainer.
