Oatey pipe joint compound is made to seal threaded pipe and fitting connections. It is made for use on plastic and metal pipe threads up to 2 inch. This compound lubricates and seals threads on water, natural gas, LP gas, steam, air lines, caustics and dilute acids. To use: Knead tube, apply to clean male threads, assemble, and apply proper torque. Great Blue Pipe Joint Compound is able to withstand pressures of up to 3,000 psi on gases, 10,000 psi on liquids. This product is made in the USA.
